Will Moving To Florida Affect My Mother's Benefits?
My mother currently resides in the state of New York and receives a social security check and food stamps. She would like to move to florida and obtain all of her same benefits. Is there a way of knowing if the amount she receives will remain the same or drastically change? And what are the steps to take that route moving forward?

Social Security is my only area of expertise. I can tell you that a move from New York to Florida would have no effect on your mother's Social Security benefits, but I don't know about her food stamps. You might want to try researching on USDA's website: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/supplemental-nutrition-assistance-program-snap.
