Will Any Money Be Taken Out If I Retire Now?
Hello I'm 63 and 9 month old can I retired now are later at 66 year old, will any money be taking out, because I'm waiting and will I have to stop working for six month after receiving my retirement
Hi. I'm not sure that I'm clear on what you're asking. If you were born in 1958, then your full retirement age (FRA) for Social Security retirement benefits is 66 & 8 months. If you start drawing your benefits before then, your benefit rate will be reduced for age and some or all of your benefits may need to be withheld if you earn too much (https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/retirement/planner/whileworking.html).
Once you reach FRA, you can earn an unlimited amount and still collect all of your benefits.
