Why Would I Receive Extra Deposits From Social Security?
Larry, I had two direct payments totaling $666.00 plus my regular deposit was there as it is every month. Thank You......
Hi,
I have no idea. It could be a mistake, or Social Security could owe you the money for some type of back pay. Odd that it would be 2 payments in the same amount, though.
I would wait a week or two to see if you receive a letter explaining the payments. If you don't, I would double check with Social Security to see if they made a mistake.
