Why Is My Income Showing Up As Higher Than My Actual Payment Amount?

I get $891 from SSDI when I applied for food stamps my worker listed my unearned income at $962. Where and why did she get the extra $71 because it now puts me above the poverty level to get full FS benefit instead I get $50 FS benefit.

Hi,

I have no idea, unless you have money withheld from your SSDI payments (e.g. taxes, Medicare, withholding to recover an overpayment, etc.) You'll probably need to check with Social Security or your Social Service worker for an explanation.
