When Will I Get My First Check?
I applied for social security May 18th. I am 63. When will I get my first check? My birthday is April 4th. Thank You.

That depends on the month you elected to begin receiving benefits. If your filing date was May 18th and you elected to receive benefits effective with May, your first payment would be due on the second Wednesday of June (https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/handbook/handbook.01/handbook-0121.html). However, your first payment could arrive on a different date depending on when your claim gets processed.
