When Are We Going To Get Our Raise On Social Security?
When are we going to get our raise on Social security,?Will we get any back pay?
Hi. I don't know what kind of raise you're referring to. The only type of across the board increases in benefits that Social Security makes are cost of living (COLA) increases, which occur in January of most years. There's normally no back pay involved in those COLAs. If you've heard some rumor about Social Security raising benefit rates across the board because of COVID, there's no truth to those rumors.
