FRA is 66 + 6 months.
FRA for 1955 was 66 + 2 months.
Hi. The full retirement age (FRA) for Social Security retirement benefits for people born in 1957 is 66 & 6 months, but the FRA for widow(er) benefits for people born in 1957 is 66 & 2 months.
