Why can't I get ssa since I am 73 and can not work
Hi. There's no way for me to know why your benefits have been suspended, so I can't give you any specific advice. Your first step in getting your benefits reinstated as quickly as possible is to call Social Security. They should then be able to access your records and tell you why your benefits have been suspended, and what you need to do to get them reinstated.
You can call Social Security's national number 800-772-1213, or your nearest local office (https://secure.ssa.gov/ICON/main.jsp). If that doesn't work, you may want to contact the offices of either your U.S. congressional representative or one of your U.S. senators to see if they'll make an inquiry on your behalf to Social Security.
