Just a short note to say THANKS for your very quick and complete reply. It is really helpful.
I cannot tell you guys how much I appreciate the guidance you have given me through the entire Social Security experience. I have learned an incredible amount from the book and your online responses to questions. I can't imagine all the trouble I would have gotten myself into had I not run across the book back in 2015 and then purchased the revised edition in 2016. It should be required reading for every American who will need to interface with the SSA. And, I guess that's about everyone!!
