I Use MaximizeMySocialSecurity, What Should I do?
I'll be 65 in October. I quit my job in Feb 2016 to take care of my father. I applied and am receiving SS beginning April of 2016. My husband is 66 and has filed and suspended. I purchased your software but honestly I'm not completely sure what it's telling me. We were apparently confused about the file and suspend because SS told me that I was unable to draw on my husband's Social Security/spousal benefits because I wasn't old enough. I'm guessing that for the most part, we've made every mistake possible, except perhaps the file and suspend. Can I get your suggestions on what to do or how to interpret the information from your software "Maximize my Social Security"? Thank you.
