Does Receiving A QPP Pension Qualify As Canadian Sourced Income?
I understand that a charitable donation to a charity in Canada is tax deductible on the U.S. 1040 tax return if there is any Canadian sourced income. Does receiving a QPP pension qualify as Canadian sourced income? The QPP income gets lumped in with U.S. Social Security income so not sure if it is identified on the form.
