Can A Person Receive SNAP Benefits Before Qualifying For SSI?
Can a person in Texas receive SNAP benefits when applying for SSI, or can they not get SNAP until they are actually approved for SSI?
Hi,
I don't really know much about the SNAP program, but I don't think SSI (Supplemental Security Income) eligibility is required. For more information, refer to the USDA website: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/eligibility.
